We've been blogging some of our favourite weddings over the summer and will be continuing to do so over the coming weeks, but we mustn't forget our wonderful family clients too. Here's some photographs from a recent lifestyle shoot Pippa had with the fun-loving Epstein Family at their home and in Petworth Park. Debbie, James, Ellie, Ruby and of course not forgetting Milo, it was a joy to photograph you all!
One of the things I love about our job is that it’s not just about dropping into people’s lives for a one-off occasion. Often we develop long-term and very special relationships with our clients, and as their lives change, their families grow-up, and important milestones are celebrated, we are there to document them.
In 2006 I shot a really fun photo-shoot with Frankii, Livvy and Mercedes. Now four years on, I had the great pleasure of photographing the girls again, to celebrate their mum, Jo’s, 50th birthday.

Now that we've started BABE, the Bump and Baby Experience we thought it would be a good idea to upload a few images from one of our recent shoots.
Judy, who has recently given birth to a beautiful baby boy, Lucas, came along to our studio just a few weeks before giving birth. She was an absolutely fantastic model.
We had the honour of photographing Judy's marriage to Adrian last year at Hedsor House and it was a real privilege when they asked us to photograph the next phase is their life together.

As part of Judy and Adrian's BABE package, we will be back to photograph little Lucas 3 more times over the next year. We can't wait to watch the little guy grow.
If you are a regular visitor to our blog you will know that we spend a lot of time on West Wittering beach. Last week we had a couple of shoots down there and the combination of low tide, dry sands, slight wind and blazing sunshine made for an amazing landscape. Before every shoot we always turn up 30-45 minutes early to walk the beach and discuss ideas. It's important for us that each shoot is different as it can be easy to become complacent when using the same location.
Here are just a couple of shots we took during our recce. As the title of the blog implies we had a sense of being on the Moon, or even Mars. It was truly breathtaking.
We were recently approached by Cassie who wanted a very special birthday present for her husband, Tony. Cassie's brief was to create something that was more than just a portrait. She wanted a piece of art. Ian worked very closely with her to come up with something really special. It's great when you get a chance to work with a client who opens up the creative pallet.
We spent a whole day with Cassie and her friend Gemma. Our hair and make-up artist, Clare (www.marvellousmakeup.co.uk), was on hand to give Cassie the look she wanted for the shoot. We also opened a bottle of bubbly to relax our willing but very nervous model.
We are so happy with the results from the day and more importantly, so was Tony!
Furry friends are always invited along to our e-Shoots. Usually it’s the small variety that come along but last week we were lucky enough to photograph two beautiful ex-racehorses! We met Amanda and Chris on West Wittering beach with their two stunning steeds and spent two fantastic hours photographing them galloping through the sea. Here are some of our favourite shots.
Whether it's great white sharks, scorpions or horses, Pippa's experience in wildlife photography is invaluable. The one thing she always keeps in mind is to respect the animal and keep calm. Ian couldn’t resist taking a few snaps of Pippa in action, getting that perfect shot.
Well, we had the first official Twisted Vintage™ photoshoot on Friday. Everything went extremely well and we've got some great images to show for it. We now have a fantastic team for the Twisted Vintage™ experience and we'll be introducing our specialists over the coming weeks as we get the website up and running. Anyway, for now we hope you enjoy this sneak peek of what's to come.

We strongly believe in the importance of supporting other local businesses. Not only do both parties benefit from the working relationship, it's also great to network with other businesses in your area.
Now that we've expanded into the world of portrait photography we also have much more of a need to advertise locally. This being the case we've recently taken the opportunity to help a local coffee shop with their Easter window display (see images below). We also have a selection of our portraits being displayed in the reception of a local private dentist.
Petworth is one of the prettiest villages in West Sussex, and also has one the highest concentrations of antique shops in the country. The area surrounding Petworth is also very affluent and Petworth House and Park draws many people from surrounding counties. As of yesterday we are also very privileged to be part of the South Downs National Park.
The Coco Cafe and Sugar Lounge is a luxurious coffee shop selling a wide range of coffees, teas and cakes and also sells a mouthwatering selection of sweets and chocolates. We often spend some time in there reading a paper and enjoying a coffee. Ian getting high on a double espresso (or two) and Pippa tucking into a sumptuous cappuccino with plenty of chocolate flakes on top. They also sell the most amazing cup cakes (made locally) which we often buy for our meetings.
We'd also like to send a big thank you to Indigo, our model for the photographs. She was so good during the shoot and never once tried to lick the chocolate from her face or hands which must have been very, very hard not to do. She did of course get to eat the egg afterwards.
