Well, where did 2010 go! It's been a little while since we last blogged but believe us when we say that we haven't been idle. 2011 is shaping up to be a great year with many different things in the pipeline.

Over the last few months Ian has been hard at work getting a new venture off the ground. Today sees the launch of his website, www.ianhearnshaw.com, which showcases his Classic Car and Supercar photography.

With the help of a local Classic Car hire company, Vanilla Classics, Ian has been able to create a stunning portfolio of images to sell his services to the classic car market.

He is already getting a name for himself in this genre and generating alot of interest. Below is a selection of images from his site. We hope you like them!

Pippa Mackenzie Photography hits Asia once again…

It’s been a year for Pippa Mackenzie Photography with real life wedding magazine features. This month’s You and Your Wedding features the beautiful wedding of Julie and Pete that we shot in May this year. We will blog that very soon, so keep a look out for it!

This months sees yet another feature in Chinese Cosmo Bride. This time it was Emily and Derek’s wedding. Imagine a wedding with doc martin boots, a guard of honour sword arch, huge heart lollipops, sparklers and a massive amount of fun and laughter.

Their ceremony was traditionally intimate in the quaint church of St. Margaret’s in Fernhurst, and their reception was at Ramster House in the heart of Surrey. It was certainly one of our favourite weddings of the year!

We're sure there are going to be plenty of winter wonderland pictures on the interweb over the next week or so but Ian couldn't resist taking Inca out for a bit of an impromptu photo session this afternoon.

Catching a Wave

One of the things we love about our job is the variety of what we get to photograph. As we only take on a select number of weddings each year, it enables us to have the time to take on other commissions.

One such job was during the Summer. We were approached by George Stoy, a very cool guy who spends half his time surfing in Cornwall and Lanzarote, and the other half skiing in Champery in Switzerland... and we thought we had a great job?!

His brief was a blank canvas; to capture him at work and play in his office (a breaking wave!).

In early January, we’re off on the second part of our commission to photograph him skiing in the mountains of Champery, Switzerland. We’ll keep you posted on that one.

A romantic wedding at St. Audries Park

St. Audries Park in Somerset is the perfect venue for a fairytale wedding. A stunning manor set in spectacular grounds overlooking the Quantock Hills with a large Victorian Orangery, large banqueting hall and luxury bedrooms. Could you ask for any more?!

Some of you may remember Sarah and Julian from our e-Shoot with them back in August at The Balcombe Viaduct in West Sussex.

Sarah & Julian’s wedding took place on the perfect Autumn day earlier this month. In the morning the boys played cricket on the front lawn whilst the girls got themselves pampered and ready.

A romantic ceremony took place in the Victorian Orangery followed by a fantastic banquet and then dancing.

Sarah and Julian have now left for a new life in Melbourne, Australia (although not without a honeymoon detour to the idyllic island of Langkawi in Malaysia.) We wish them a fond farewell and many fantastic adventures ahead.

A Perfect Summer Wedding at Waddesdon Manor

A peak at another of our favourite weddings this Summer, organised by the fabulous Kelly Chander of The Bespoke Wedding Company.

Set on the waters edge, amidst enchanting gardens, The Dairy at Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire is one of the most beautiful and tranquil backdrops for the perfect wedding.

Anna and Leonard were married here on a beautiful June day. The ceremony was simple, elegant and very romantic. The reception was simply one big party, with the emphasis on cocktails and having fun!

It's a family affair

We've been blogging some of our favourite weddings over the summer and will be continuing to do so over the coming weeks, but we mustn't forget our wonderful family clients too. Here's some photographs from a recent lifestyle shoot Pippa had with the fun-loving Epstein Family at their home and in Petworth Park. Debbie, James, Ellie, Ruby and of course not forgetting Milo, it was a joy to photograph you all!

Oriental spice at Clandon Park

Here is another one of our weddings from the summer. Ian photographed Serena and Phil's wedding in early July at Clandon Park which is a National Trust property. Its architecture is stunning and inside there is a great Marble Hall which is a perfect cube.

The day was full of colour and, unusually, the boys provided a lot of it with waistcoats in all the colours of the rainbow. One of the highlights of the day was an amazing lion dance in the Marble Hall.

Pippa photographed Serena's brother, Adrian's, wedding to Judy in June 2009 and Ian photographed Judy in June this year as part of her BABE package.

A Passage to India at Sezincote in the Cotswolds

Another one of our fantastically colourful weddings was that of Nzinga & Terwase at Sezincote House and Gardens in the Costwold Hills. The house is inspired by Indian architecture and has a stunning curved orangery, the perfect location for a romantic wedding ceremony. The house is set within a beautiful water garden which includes a temple to the Hindu Sun God.

What better place as the location for Nzinga & Terwase's wedding. They are such a fun, warm couple and the whole day was full of colour.
